A meeting of Cyprus Charity Foundations
In a new initiative, Major Brian Thomas BEM, Chairman of the Royal British Legion, has invited all the major Charitable Organisations and Foundations to a meeting to discuss the possibilty of establishing a calendar of Charitable Events for next year.
95% of the Charities that have been invited have accepted and agreed to attend the meeting.
Collectively co-ordinating the dates of the various charities fund-raising events should ensure that in future, two or, more major events don't compete for support on simultaneous support.

Pearl Live ! - The First Christmas Party of the Season
Another chance to see Pearl - the "Charity Rock Band" performing free to help The Kemal Saracoglu Foundation to raise much needed funds for their very worthy cause.
Pearl will be playing all your favourite hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s including a great selection of your favourite Christmas' hits.
Liaisons management and staff are busy decorating their Ozankoy village restaurant with tinsel, lights and a beautiful Christmas tree to make sure that everyone who attends has an enjoyable and memorable evening.
Popadoms as an appetizer then, a choice from 3 different starters and main courses - all for 20TL which includes a donation to the Kemal Saracoglu Foundation.

This year, as the 112 Christmas Sing-along event was quickly sold out and demand for the tickets is high, an extra night's event has been organised to handle the demand for those who want to attend.

A cocktail party to honour Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Donors
Since 2003, 35 donors between the ages of 18 and 45 have been making Stem Cell and Bone Marrow donations.
This is a cocktail party being held to honour those who have been making the donations.
Fund raisers who have worked on behalf of the Charitable Foundation have also been invited.

Christmas in Baris Park
Girne Belediye, together with various charities and organisations, are now putting final touches to their plans for their Saturday 17th December, Christmas Event when a seasonal market will be held together with other entertainments and attractions.
This is going to be a great event with all the people of Girne coming together and sharing their customs and seasonal wish of peace and joy for the future.

Christmas in Baris Park
There will be a grand show starting around 2.30pm with Father Christmas (or, Baba Noel) arriving to greet the children and entertain them.
The children will also be able to travel on the friendly train around the new extension to the park. They can then visit the small zoo to see the animals and birds and if they have any energy left, Mum and Dad can take them to the playground for yet more fun. Who knows it may even snow again this year which will be great.
Entertainment will be provided by Kismet, Folk Dancers, Line Dancers, A choir singing Christmas songs. Following on with Stringfellas and the Serdar Tuksal Band and on the closing of the event there will be a grand fireworks display.
